I was nervous about getting around Bangkok at first, but the public transport system is actually pretty simple once you get the hang of it. The BTS and MRT signs are in English, and stations have maps to help you figure out where you’re going. Plus, you avoid all the traffic jams that Bangkok is known for! Taxis and tuk-tuks are okay for short rides, but they often get stuck in traffic. I’d also recommend using the Klook app to book passes for transport in advance—super convenient if you’re planning to move around a lot.
