In his career, Jean has assumed leadership roles in various organizations, demonstrating his proficiency in team management, marketing strategy development, operational and financial optimization, and value creation for clients and stakeholders.

With a background of nine years in the sugar industry, he has garnered a wealth of knowledge in logistics, operations, finance, industrial safety, maintenance, strategy, international certifications, and project management.

Additionally, he has four years of experience in international trade, focusing on the import/export of products and customs operations.

His administrative, operational, and strategic management skills have enabled him to represent Guatemala in significant events, such as the Innovate Entrepreneurship Summit in 2018 and the Volcano Summit in 2023.

Jean leads GuateGo, a trailblazing online tourism marketplace in Guatemala, which streamlines transportation bookings for travelers.

GuateGo operates over 5,000 routes, serving more than 27,000 travelers annually, helping them navigate their journeys more efficiently and quickly in over 200 cities across nine countries.
